Civil Engineer Internship or Co-Op (Start May 2026)
We are seeking talented individuals to support our Site / Civil practice. Selected individuals will play a key role in the design, permitting, and construction of food processing facilities throughout the United States.
The professional will be a member of our Civil Department and his/her responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Conceptual and detailed site layout
- Site grading and drainage design
- Site utility design
- Working within a team for complex projects, or independently for moderate projects
- Performing moderate design tasks independently and collaborating with others for complex projects
- Assisting Senior Civil Engineers in managing design and permitting tasks
- Providing technical guidance for Junior Engineers
About You
- Current Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Civil Engineering for industrial or commercial projects (Internship or Co-Op strongly preferred)
- Experience of foundation, land development, building pads, drainage, grading, and utility design.
- EIT/FE certification preferred
- Candidate should be proficient with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with Hydraulics and and Hydrology (H&H) software preferred
- Valid driver’s license
